Well, it Christmas time again, and so many of you lovely people have requested I do a Christmas track. So I scoured youtube for the ideal song, but none of them spoke to me.
I listened to old and new, sang a few, but they all sounded shit. Then by some miracle, I spotted in the vast list of 'Christmas karaoke' tracks, Elvis.
I love Elvis; he's the man. If he did Christmas songs then I'm sure he'd have a little something for me. So after thoroughly indulging in Elvis renditions of Christmas classics, I settled on 'Santa Claus is back in town'.
This song says it all for me, the backing track is simply wonderful, so relentless ... 'Christmas, Christmas.' Fantastic! It's like being hit round the head with a sock full of cast iron Christmas baubles.
